So who's Ken Ring?
A (very) quick google gives me

but I'm guessing that's not who they're talking about.
I can see a lot of articles talking about Ken Ring claiming to have twittered the Earthquake would happen but nothing on the man himself.
Ken Ring is an "astrological weather predictor", which tells you everything you need to know.
